CEP’s Research & Development office is constantly dedicated to technological innovation to improve existing products, to create new products that meet modern needs, and to find other solutions to production proposals.

The research and development office looks into the market both in medium and long term following its trend, foreseeing new trends in order to propose innovative solutions that improve the performance of the products.

Furthermore, these activities aim at the differentiation of production, thinking of customized products exclusively for specific customers who have specific needs that the market does not satisfy.

Arch on station
Solutions concerning the containment of the expansion of gas and debris from the outdoor MVSG classified IAC and installed in “skid tanks” for outdoor applications.

Distribution Station Maintenance
Study and specification of a remote and predictive maintenance system for secondary electricity distribution substations and identification of the needs of potential customers.

Storage
Study and specification of an electrical substation for energy storage system produced from renewable sources.

We are well aware that our professional life is an integral part of some processes. Every day we aim to identifying and measuring everything that can be improved.
Even more important than understanding a process is having the cultural revolution achieved through a major investment in the mentality that makes us look into the future with a long-term logic and perspective.
CEP  therefore today with a forge of professionals who carry out the processes well, but at the same time do not limit themselves to respecting them, but rather continually reflecting on how to improve them, and  making them more sustainable and with greater internal and external customer satisfaction.
Continuous improvement for us is an incessant and daily teamwork, carried out by step, which takes into consideration all company sectors, that is, from production to the offices. We inaugurate the cd. “Kaizen events” that manifest themselves in Kantieri deeply animated by the challenge of imagining the ideal department or office, then proceeding, then mapping the process and tracing all the possible areas for improvement identified through a collective brainstorming followed by the drafting of all possible ideas and finally filtering the best ones.

The effort and work in question and how and what is done is always satisfied by the increase in involvement, productivity, work attachment and finally the willingness to take on new responsibilities. We therefore verify that each employee is contributing to the process of the work flow and the company in the most optimal conditions possible, not being afraid of developing new and improved environments, thus repaying the effort required in the best comfort possible.
The results produced lead to the review of the working methods which, in practice, end up rationalizing our activities, rearranging the spaces by freeing up and enhancing entire areas of the plants and identifying new standards that allows us to increase the level of service and therefore greater satisfaction for the customer.
With our team leaders using the principles of lean management so that the whole CEP team acquires the mentality and culture of “lean thinking”.
Furthermore, we commit time and energy by considering our partners and suppliers as a natural extension, stimulating them to improve and sharing common challenges with them, making us an active part in their improvement processes.
